This year, Mercia Distillery made a bold statement at the vibrant Lichfield Food Festival, showcasing our award-winning gins and the warrior spirit that defines our brand. As an ambitious English whisky start-up, we take immense pride in our Anglo-Saxon heritage and our dedication to crafting exceptional spirits.
At the Lichfield Food Festival, we proudly presented our three London dry-based gins: Trad Style, Signature, and New World, each with a robust 45% ABV. These gins have garnered gold and masters awards, reflecting our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
We also took this opportunity to softly launch our newest flavoured gin range, Gunnars Gin, featuring delightful flavours such as Rhubarb and Custard, Lime and Mint, and Lychee and Mango, each at 37.5% ABV. These innovative gins were a hit among festival-goers, offering a fresh twist on classic gin.
The atmosphere at the festival was electric, with the sun shining and a packed crowd on Saturday. We offered refreshing Gin and Tonics, and some lucky visitors even had the chance to sample one of Jez’s Whisky Old Fashioned cocktails!
We met hundreds of wonderful gin enthusiasts who enjoyed our free samples and give us valuable feedback! (lemonade or tonic?)
